3. In 2017, BTS became the first K-pop group ever to perform at the American Music Awards (AMAs). They also made history by becoming the first K-Pop act to be featured on the cover of “Time” magazine and winning a Grammy Award nomination.

4. BTS’s official fandom is called the “ARMY,” which stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth and it’s made up of fans from all over the world. The ARMY has been known to trend hashtags on global Twitter feeds in support of their favorite band.

5. Their record-breaking single with rapper Halsey, entitled “Boy With Luv,” became the most viewed music video within 24 hours on YouTube, garnering more than 78 million views in its first day!
